Any Monkey Can Do That

Usually when people tend to write they have a reason of some sort, they either want to move the reader’s emotions or have them on the edge waiting to find out what comes next.

The hero who saves the girl at the last second, the evil dude who has multi-psychotic intentions to end the world as we know it, and my personal favorite, the disable kid who can solve complex math problems in his head.. While he is sleeping.. In a coma.. After being shot at by a multi-corporate mafia gang lords hit man.

By now you should know that I was directing the previous part of the article to foreign movie makers, whether they are pro or just started, which brings me to the heart of my article. But please understand that this is not for simple mockery or because I see myself more knowledgeable than local "movie makers" only… and the simple fact that I love to give advice!

Recently, I keep getting spammed to check out these new low budget movies by Kuwaiti groups who want to go pro. Twitter seems to be some kind of ad space that only advertises such crap! Broadcasts only stop when you turn off your phones... With all those factors in the equation, I said hey.. What the hell! It can't be that bad only to find out after wasting 5 minutes of my life that this can be described in one word, and the level of inelegance that helped me come up with it is more artistic and has more thought in script  ... Oh yes! The word is SHIT!

Now the reason behind all of this is simply because we relay on the fact that technology does everything for us now a days! We think that if we buy the best cameras out there and pile it with the best equipment; we will make a block buster!

I mean why not, it's perfectly understandable.. We always see movies such as Avatar make more money than a movie like The Notebook regardless of the hype that come before.

Unfortunately some of the people with narrow mind are allowed to think in the modern day! And since we allowed it, I think it's a good lesson to teach us not to f*** up any more!

The reason I said what I said is because some "movie makers" today have adapted the method of pretty graphics in their work as a way to cover up the fact that their movie just sucks! To simplify, I came up with the following mathematical equation:

More technology = stupid people who can't do shit.

Less technology = smart people who actually think before acting and can actually accomplish.

Yet any able monkey with half of his brain intact can come up with a good script, I write this in shock and filled with nosiness and disappointment, how come we don’t have such monkeys?
